Voters to Decide on Four Propositions
1. Shall the Board of Education of the Port Byron Central School District, Cayuga and Wayne Counties, New York be authorized to adopt the annual budget of the School District for the fiscal year 2024-2025 in the amount of $24,867,816.00 and to authorize the requisite portion thereof to be raised by taxation on the taxable property of the District?
2. Shall the Board of Education of the Port Byron Central School District be authorized to purchase and finance three (3) student transport vehicles, including necessary furnishings, fixtures and equipment and all other costs incidental thereto, and expend a total sum not to exceed $450,000, which is estimated to be the total maximum cost thereof, and said amount, or so much thereof as may be necessary, shall be raised by the levy of a tax upon the taxable property of said School District and collected in annual installments as provided by Section 416 of the Education Law; and, in anticipation of such tax, shall obligations of said School District, in the principal amount not to exceed $450,000, be issued?
3. Shall the Board of Education of the Port Byron Central School District, Cayuga and Wayne Counties, New York be authorized to increase the funding for the Port Byron Library by $4,000.00 bringing it from $101,147.00 to $105,147.00 for the 2024-2025 school year?

2. Shall the Board of Education of the Port Byron Central School District be authorized to purchase and finance two student transport vehicles and one seven passenger van, including necessary furnishings, fixtures and equipment and all other costs incidental thereto, and expend a total sum not to exceed $420,000, which is estimated to be the total maximum cost thereof, and said amount, or so much thereof as may be necessary, shall be raised by the levy of a tax upon the taxable property of said School District and collected in annual installments as provided by Section 416 of the Education Law; and, in anticipation of such tax, obligations of said School District, in the principal amount not to exceed $420,000?
3. Shall the Board of Education of the Port Byron Central School District be authorized to establish a reserve fund pursuant to Section 3651 of the Education Law in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000 having a 10 year term to be used for renovations and additions to all District facilities, including the purchase of equipment, technology upgrades, classroom equipment and/or school infrastructure equipment, security and safety improvement, site development, athletic fields, plumbing, storm and sanitary sewers, boilers, driveways, and parking lots, such reserve fund to be funded from (i) year-end budget surplus funds known as unassigned fund balance, as available, for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2023 and each fiscal year thereafter for the term of the reserve fund, (ii) transfers of excess monies from Board of Education designated reserves, (iii) amounts from budgetary appropriations from time to time, and (iv) New York State Aid received and made available by the Board of Education from time to time, all as permitted by law?

Shall the Board of Education of the Port Byron Central School District, Cayuga and Wayne Counties, New York be authorized to adopt the annual budget of the School District for the fiscal year 2022-2023 in the amount of $23,371,116.00 and to authorize the requisite portion thereof to be raised by taxation on the taxable property of the District?
2. To authorize the Port Byron Central School District to purchase and finance replacement student transport vehicles, including necessary furnishings, fixtures and equipment and all other costs incidental thereto, and expend a total sum not to exceed $300,000, which is estimated to be the total maximum cost thereof, and said amount, or so much thereof as may be necessary, shall be raised by the levy of a tax upon the taxable property of said School District and collected in annual installments as provided by Section 416 of the Education Law and, in anticipation of such tax, obligations of said School District, in the principal amount not to exceed $300,000, shall be issued.
3. Resolved, the pursuant to Education Law, Section 259, the Board of Education of the Port Byron School District is authorized to levy and collect an annual tax, year after year, separate and apart from the annual school district budget, in the amount of $3,000, in addition to the current appropriation of $98,147, for a total of $101,147 annually, which shall be pair to the Port Byron Library and for the support and maintenance of the library; with this appropriated amount to be the annual appropriation until thereafter modified by a future vote of the electors of the Port Byron School District.
4. To elect TWO (2) members of the Board of Education to 3-year terms commencing July 1, 2022 and expiring June 30, 2025 to fill the vacancies of the expiring terms of Todd Delaney and Christopher Recckio TODD DELANEY CHRISTOPHER RECCKIO
