DEC Pilots Pharmaceutical Take Back Program in Port Byron

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is piloting a "Pharmaceutical Take Back Program," and has set up an authorized drop-off spot in Port Byron.

The goal of the program is to provide parents with a safe, convenient option for getting unwanted medications out of their medicine cabinets. This free disposal option is also environmentally responsible, and helps protect public health and safety. 

Simply visit Port Byron's drop-off location (listed below) and deposit your medications in the authorized Drug Drop receptacle:
