A Port Byron Jr.-Sr. High School student was struck by a vehicle as she walked to school on the road in front of her house Friday morning. She was transported to University Hospital.
"Our thoughts go out to her and her family, and we wish her a
speedy recovery," said Superintendent Neil O'Brien.
Guidance counselors are available at the high school to speak with any students who may be upset or have concerns.
